Dubois Food Co. is owned and operated by me, Marc-André Dubois.
I was born and raised in Terrebonne, Quebec. I had my first restaurant job when I was 16 and fell in love with cooking and the industry. Since then, I have learned from some seriously talented chefs and have run restaurants from the Rocky Mountains all the way up to Haida Gwaii.
I came to BC in the early 2000's for the summer to learn English and I haven't left! This province stole my heart. The geography, the food and the people make this place special.
Since moving to the Comox Valley in 2018, I've been blown away by the bounty of quality ingredients growing here. Moving here gave me the push to fill a need in the community and I dreamed up the vision for Dubois Food Co.
I believe that eating as locally and seasonally as possible is the key to a happy, healthy life. I bring my joy for cooking into my own home, feeding my family all sorts of interesting meals. I'm excited to bring this same joy into yours while kicking up the finesse a notch or two.

We provide you with the chance to experience modern, intimate, restaurant-quality dining in the comfort of your own home or chosen venue. We are not your typical buffet-style catering company, and we pride ourselves on that.

What else do we do?
Check out our Dinner Club, hosted at the Filberg Heritage Park during the winter months. These events are intimate, 5-course dinners and showcase an ever-changing menu.
This summer, Dubois Food Co. is offering a refined menu at the Filberg Summer Kitchen. We are utilizing local, seasonal products with a nice selection of seafood. Stay tuned for our our 2023 opening date.
